GREAT EXPLOITS- III
“And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.”- Daniel 11:32 (KJV)
Only those who know their God will be strong. A weak person cannot do exploits, only the strong person can.
Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they will have their natural strength replaced by the supernatural strength of God. Therefore, waiting on the Lord will make us strong, and as we are strong, we shall do exploits.
The knowledge of God will make us bold and courageous. It will make us confront every situation knowing that, greater is He who is in us. It is therefore imperative that you and I must determine to know God.
It is only by revelation or divine insight that we know God, and it takes God Himself to reveal Himself to us. For God to reveal Himself to us, we must draw near to God.
“Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world.”- James 4:8 (NLT)
You and I have to dissociate from all that we indulge in that hinders our intimacy with God. We must disconnect from any ‘friend’ that draws us away from God or weakens our resolve to know Him. God is not bound to reveal Himself or His power to us according to our need of Him, but according to our knowledge of Him.
“Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,”- 2 Peter 1:2 (KJV)
The more you and I know God, the more His grace and supernatural ability will be multiplied to us. The more the grace of God that we have, the more exploits we will do. It has to be God working in us or through us by His grace, for us to be able to do exploits.
“There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.”- John 3:1-2 (KJV)
Exploits are heroic feats. They are deeds that defy human explanations and are beyond human reasoning. The exploits are not showmanship, they are not just vain actions or magic, rather, they are tangible manifestations of God that glorify the name of the Lord and advance His Kingdom.
The exploits we are referring to are meant to make people believe God, surrender their lives to Him and follow Him.
“Then said Jesus unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe.”- John 4:48 (KJV)
God desires to make us His proof producers. He wants His testimony to be confirmed in us and through us. Let us therefore, seek to know Him, so we can be strong and do exploits.
God bless you.
