“While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.”- ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭8:22‬ ‭(KJV)‬‬

Laws are fundamental truths which are universally applicable. Every law has in it the benefits for keeping it and the consequences for flouting it. This particular law of sowing and reaping is the key to supernatural increase and fruitfulness.

Sowing requires determination, it requires effort and commitment. It takes sacrifice to sow; to give away or part with what you have. Without doubt, the greatest motivation for sowing is the harvest in view. Also, there is great joy during the harvest; so you can endure the pain and the sacrifice of sowing, and sow today to reap with joy in harvest.

“They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.”- ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭126:5‬ ‭(KJV)‬‬

More often than not, you may not have enough to sow, and therefore, the natural tendency is to either keep what you have or consume it, and not sow anything. However, without sowing there can be no reaping; the status quo remains.

Many a times the atmosphere may not be conducive to sowing, yet if you want a new season, you have to defy the unfavourable atmosphere and sow.

“He who observes the wind [and waits for all conditions to be favorable] will not sow, and he who regards the clouds will not reap.”- ‭‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭11:4‬ (‭AMP‬‬)

You can create the future you desire by sowing. Therefore, don’t sit there watching the wind, don’t stare at the clouds, get on with your life and sow your seed inspite of the unfavourable conditions.

Whatever you sow is what you reap. You sow or invest money to get or reap money. You sow orange seed to reap orange fruits etc.

You can only sow what you have, you cannot sow what you do not have. So what have you got? Everybody has got time, and you can either invest your time, spend it or waste it. What you do with your own time today determines the quality of your life in future.

Sowing is an investment, you can sow your talents or your energy by putting them into useful ventures, and you will reap greatness tomorrow. You and I can turn just anything we have into a seed and sow it, to reap the future we desire.

There is always a time and season to sow, and a time and season to harvest. To miss a season of sowing or investment today, is to miss a season of harvest tomorrow. So in order to reap a harvest, do not only pray or wish for a harvest; sow for a harvest.

There is always a time lag between the time of sowing and time of reaping; this is the waiting time or the period when it seems nothing is happening. Therefore, we need to be patient.

Also, you reap a multiple of what you sow. Yes! A multiple, that is, you sow a little and you reap much. Therefore turn your little into much by sowing.

God bless you
