“But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.”- Acts 6:4
Prayer is communication between man and God, during prayer man is connected to God. It is an active and dynamic connection that generates a flow. It is a two-way flow- A flow of expression of man’s needs that goes up as smoke to God’s presence; and a flow of divine provision from God to man. The provisions that flow from God are as numerous as the flow of requests, even much more.
God expects us to pass all that we cannot handle over to Him, He expects us to allow Him take every problem off us and sort them out.
“Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.”- Philippians 4:6
Our needs are numerous, as well as the issues that confront us. Nonetheless our God is Almighty- The El-shaddai- the God that is more than enough. He is beautiful for all situations (Psalm 48:2). He is able to do all things- nothing is too difficult for Him- Hallelujah!
And so as we pray, we trigger the flow of virtue, grace, power, blessings, favour, and help from God. As we pray without ceasing, all these provisions stored up and reserved in heaven are poured out upon our lives. As often as we pray, we experience heavens impact on our earthly situations; we therefore live on earth at the expense of God.
Prayer brings God’s divinity into our humanity. It exchanges our infirmities with God’s strength. So for anything we pray about within His will for us, we receive supernatural approval that grants our desired outcome and creates a wow! factor.
“then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them.”- Psalm 126:2b
Our prayer involves God in our affairs; it gives Him the opportunity to work for us. Our God responds to our prayer by awesome deeds! Glorious happenings are set in motion following our prayers.
When we pray we receive inspiration; fresh ideas and strategies are dropped in our spirit. We cannot be stranded if we are prayerful, neither can we be empty. A prayerful man cannot expire; he is constantly inspired and stays current by the power of the Spirit.
Through prayer, God’s will is established in our lives, families, business and Ministry. Through prayer we are equipped and guided to fulfil our life’s purpose. When we pray we are transformed and our heads are lifted up in hope and expectation of our glorious future.
Let us continue in prayer and the more we do this, the more we will shine.
God bless you!
